I enjoy designing and making different catches and clasps; things that open and close that are comfortable to wear. I take a lot of inspiration from buckles and clasps in museums and also from ancient metal detector finds.  I draw and sculpt my ideas in wax then cast 
them myself in silver, hand rivet the leather straps in place and wear them for awhile to see if they are comfortable.
If the design works I then begin to produce more of them in my studio.
Here is one such piece,  which I find really comfortable to wear.  Hand made in sterling silver with riveted leather strap and hallmarked in the London Goldsmiths Assay Office.
This bracelet comes in it's own gift box and fits a medium to large wrist and is 210mm long.  The leather round strap is 5mm diameter.
Silver scroll ends average size 27mm long x 10mm wide x 6mm deep.
