The piece of china is Victorian willow pattern which was found walking my dog at Hengistbury Head Beach on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Set in sterling silver and hallmarked at the Goldsmiths London Assay Office.
The top of the ring measures 20mm x 18mm x 5mm deep
