Big Monster Skull Ring is inspired by 17th & 18th Century Venetian memento mori skull jewellery. The ring has been individually designed and hand sculpted by me, cast in sterling silver, set with 9ct gold bezel eye sockets, and set with cabachon peridot eye balls. The skull has been hand enamelled and fired in my kiln in my Dorset studio, adding many layers to form an aged patina. The ring has been hallmarked at the Goldsmiths Assay Office in London.
The measurements of the ring are 36mm high from the top of the skull to the base of the ring shank, 18mm across the skull at the widest points, and 28mm long from the rear of the skull to the front teeth.
