Alpha Centauri is the closest star system to our sun and it contains three distinct stars bound by gravity, Alpha Centauri A (Rigil Kentaurus), Alpha Centauri B (Toliman), and Alpha Centauri C (Proxima Centauri). This star system contains habitable planets but it would take 10,000 years to reach them with current technology so this means we have to look after the planet we live on, its our home. I have designed and made this ring on this constellation to remind the wearer of the preciousness of our planet Earth.

The ring is handmade from solid sterling silver, with applied golden stars and moon, made from gilt metal. It has a dark patina finish to represent the night sky.

The top of the ring measures 25mm long x 18mm wide. It has a lovely chunky weight and has my makers mark to the rear.
