18th century clay pipe stems collected from Greenwich Thames foreshore London. I have mounted them in sterling silver with a brass wire running through the middle to give strength. The metalwork has been given a patina to give an ancient feel. This necklace is inspired by archaeological jewellery and the history of the Thames foreshore. The necklace has a handmade sterling hook and eye catch. The necklace measures 480mm long.
