Pacific cowrie shell set in sterling silver handmade setting and suspended on a sterling silver chain. Cowrie shells remind me of the Pacific ocean. I grew up in New Zealand and the Cowrie shell brings back beautiful memories. Its also a symbol of good luck and prosperity in African culture.
The pendant is hallmarked at the Goldsmiths Assay Office in London.
The pendant measures 34mm height x 23mm wide x 8mm deep.
The silver chain is 460mm long.
