Hand painted skull and crossbones enamel pendant mounted in a sterling silver scalloped silver bezel with a hand engraved back. The pendant is hallmarked at the Goldsmiths Assay Office in London and is suspended on a sterling silver chain.
This enamel plaque is inspired by European 17th and 18th century memento mori and is also influenced by mystery stories of lost pirate treasure from my childhood.
The pendant measures 43mm high x 38mm wide x 6mm deep.
The chain measures 560mm long.
